What is UV DTF Printer and UV DTF Printing?

UV DTF printing is an advanced digital printing method in which the image is printed directly with UV ink onto a special film layer (commonly known as Film A). Then, a layer of Film B is rolled onto the printed Film A at a temperature of about 60 degrees to 80 degrees. Film B along with the printed image on it will form a UV DTF decal. This decal can be applied to many types of hard materials such as plastic, glass, metal, cardboard, wood, ceramic without heat pressing. After applying, the Film B layer will be peeled off, leaving the printed image on the surface of the product.

Therefore, not all printers can print UV DTF. Because there is a layer of glue on the film A, you cannot print from conventional roll printers. The glue will stick to the rollers.
